This infopost can rip your heart out

Hello lovely people! It is pouring down rain and I am hoping against hope that work isn't stupid busy again today, but I'm bringing in a new character which means it's TIME FOR AN INFOPOST!
Meet Regina Mills. She's classy and stern, an incredibly powerful magic user, a step-mother, mom, grandmother, and if you look at it the wrong way through several curses, dark or otherwise, even a step-great-great-grandmother.
She'd rather not look at it that way.
Regina comes from Once Upon a Time, that bizarre ABC drama that ran for 7 seasons on the premise that all the classic stories of Western canon (and most others besides) all exist in various Realms of Story that, with the right magic, can interact with and even enter the "real" world. Mostly through a small town in Maine (or in the last season, a neighborhood in Seattle).
Regina, as the cut text says, was the Evil Queen. Emphasis on was. She's Snow White's step-mother, the one who poisoned the apple and tricked her into a death-like coma that could only be broken by True Love's Kiss, and when Prince Charming managed to pull that one off, went a little bit nuts and cursed the entire Enchanted Forest (minus a few stragglers) into living without their memories in a realm without magic, where she lorded over them as Mayor.
You know, as you do.
Through some truly ridiculous twists and turns and the adoption of an adorable moppet with the "heart of a true believer", Regina learned the true meaning ofSmekday love, earned forgiveness from everyone she'd wronged (including herself), and eventually grew into a great hero in her own right, gathering family members and friends along the way, including two extra versions of her own adopted son. At the end of the series she even manages to manufacture a happy ending (or "happy beginning", as what probably should have been the series finale put it) for all of the Realms of Story by casting one last curse.
In our version, that curse goes sliiiiiiightly square-shaped.
Instead of bringing all the various Realms of Story from her universe into Storybrooke, Maine, she's managed to zap herself to a different nexus of stories, Fandom Island. Her curses tend to set people up with specific roles in their new realities, and this one is no different: she's managing the local diner and living upstairs.
Other than that, she'll mostly be searching for a route back to her own world and those various incarnations of her son, zapping monsters with fireballs, and providing color commentary on the various ridiculous things that Fandom decides to throw at her.
You know. As you do.
Some other details: as I said, Regina is a very powerful magic user. Most of her knowledge and skill leans in the "dark magic" direction -- you know, what with having been evil and all -- but she's got enough experience fighting various curses under her belt to know more than a thing or two about busting through magical barriers and holding off waves of transformative evil. She specializes in fireballs, memory and sleeping spells, and curses herself.
And also ripping people's hearts out of their chests while they're still alive. She doesn't really do that much anymore, though, unless it's necessary to heal people or bring them back to life.
Just in case anyone could use something like that around here. ;D
Questions, comments, gif sets welcome. OOC icon is OOC because Evil Queen, but oh my god, she's so fabulous.
